Golden age
A golden age is a time of peace and prosperity.
The golden age in ancient Greece was from 477-431 b.c
The ruler during this time in Greece was pericles
Pericles had three specific policies he wanted to strengthen democracy. For this he pays government workers so everyone would serve and introduced direct democracy.
His second policy was to strengthen Athenian empire they had the strongest navy and gained access to other waterways.
His final policy was to glorify Athens the golden age allowed people to create new art and architecture the most famous one being the partheon and a lot of classical art.
